Amelia has the X-Factor!

Four year old Amelia Owens is the proud winner of our competition to win a Swindon Dolphin cap signed by X Factor finalist Jahmene Douglas. Amelia’s tweet of “I like Swindon Dolphin because Dolphins have more fun” was the unanimous choice of the judging panel led by Chief Coach Louise Clayton.

It was Club Secretary Sharon Woolford who we have to thank for Jahmene’s signature. Sharon was one of the Olympic Torch Bearers who formed a guard of honour for Jahmene at the Swindon Town Centre Christmas lights switch on and pounced on the singer as he left the stage. To enter the competition club members were asked to tweet why they like Swindon Dolphin and we received some terrific entries from swimmers, coaches and parents. Our thanks to all who entered.
