Lucas Carter
Lucas trains in Youth Performance Squad with Head Coach, Anthony Clark.
Lucas' journey in swimming began at Swindon Dolphin in Learn to Swim. Since then, he has competed at County, Regional and National Championships, with success at all levels.
His biggest achievement to date is becoming English National Champion along with many other British and English National finals, in the process setting many club records.
Lucas demonstrates excellent leadership qualities which make him a great role model to the future generation at the club. His work ethic, attitude to training and racing and supporting his team mates make him an excellent captain.
We look forward to seeing what Lucas can achieve this season!
Girls Team Captain
Eva Higginbotham
Eva trains in Youth Performance Squad with Head Coach, Anthony Clark.
Eva's journey in swimming began at Swindon Dolphin as a youngster, where she had much success at both County and Regional level, with many final placings achieved and medals won.
Her biggest achievements to date include a huge array of club records and medals at the Swim England National Championships 2024 and 2025. She also finalled in all three of her best events, the 50m, 100m and 200m Freestyle at the British Summer Championships 2025.
Eva is an excellent role model in terms of her attitude to training, her attendance and her ability to support her team mates and provide good morale. She is a fantastic athlete who will inspire the future generation at the club.
We look forward to seeing what Eva can achieve this season as she builds upon her successes!
