Fred Carter
Fred trains in Youth Performance Squad with Head Coach, Anthony Clark.
Fred's journey in swimming began at Swindon Dolphin in Learn to Swim. Since then, he has competed at County, Regional and National Championships, with success at all levels.
His biggest achievement to date is becoming British Champion for the 17 years 50m Breaststroke, along with a bronze medal in the 100m Breaststroke at the British Summer Championships. He also picked up the National Title in the 200m Breaststroke at the 2023 Swim England National Summer Meet. The previous year, Fred won the 50m Breaststroke for 16 years at the 2022 Swim England National Summer Meet. In the process, he has broken many club records.
In 2024, Fred qualified for the British Championships (Olympic Trials) where he competed in the 200m Breaststroke.
We look forward to seeing what Fred can achieve this season!
Girls Team Captain
Megan Watts
Megan trains in Youth Performance Squad with Head Coach, Anthony Clark.
Megan's journey in swimming began at Swindon Dolphin as a youngster, where she had much success at both County and Regional level, with many final placings achieved and medals won.
Her biggest achievements to date include multiple club records and an 18th place finish at the British Summer Championships 2022 in the 100m Butterfly and a silver medal at the Swim England National Summer Meet 2022 in the 200m Butterfly.
Megan is a fantastic role model in terms of her attitude to training, her attendance and her ability to support her team mates and provide good morale. She is a fantastic role model at the club, and the future generations can learn a lot from her.
We look forward to seeing what Megan can achieve this season as she builds upon her success!
