Cardiff No Match for Dolphin
Swindon Dolphin continued where they left off against Newton Abbot a week ago comfortably beating Cardiff University at home, by five goals, last Sunday at Milton Road. Playing some of their best flowing Polo of the season so far, Dolphin hit the visitors with eight goals in the first half and were firmly in control throughout. Michal Trzeciak was in top form scoring 8 goals with Chris Selby and Andy Hicks notching 3 apiece. Matt James was on target twice and there were single strikes from David Quinlivan, Mark Lawlor, and Chris Mason.
Chris McConnell commented after the fixture – “it was a good performance and we played some excellent Polo in the first two quarters. We now have a number of tricky away matches, but the squad is in good spirits so we hope to surprise a few teams.”
Dolphin’s next match is on Thursday 1st May away to a strong Bristol University team.
