Wiltshire Masters Finish Second

Congratulations to the Wiltshire Masters’ team who finished second behind Devon in the South West Regional Inter County Masters’ Championships at Salisbury on Sunday 18th November.

Nationally Wiltshire were placed eighth, achieving their best ever score of 1,224.5 points behind winners Warwickshire on 1,732.5, with Dolphin’s Jon Audis & Nigel Masters among the most successful individual swimmers. In the relay events, the men’s 160+ year freestyle foursome of Ike, Masters, Kirk & Seward came second in the country and the 100+ year medley quartet of Audis, Masters, Price & Muspratt were third.


Wiltshire Masters Secretary, Glenys France, said “This was a most encouraging result from Wiltshire’s masters swimmers and it provided a wonderful climax to the centenary year’s celebrations. Congratulations to all who took part in the competition”.
